Students in the Rotunda

Leadership

Havergal was established and has been sustained in its mission of preparing young women to make a difference through the generosity of its benefactors – governors, alumnae, students, parents, faculty, staff and friends – for nearly 125 years.

—Martha Cohen Simmons 1999 & David Dal Bello

As a community of parents, we can all agree that we want our daughters to have every opportunity for full and happy lives, filled with many choices. We all want to raise young women who have limitless possibilities, who are confident and resilient, ready to make an impact in today’s increasingly complex and competitive world. We all have, therefore, entrusted our daughters to Havergal College because of its commitment to providing an environment specifically tailored to how girls learn and geared to academic and co-curricular excellence. We have all chosen Havergal because of its commitment to its students, supporting every girl’s belief in herself, her ability and her potential.

Co-chairing the Limitless Campaign is truly an honour and a privilege. It provides us each with an opportunity to support our respective daughters in these formative years. Havergal has consistently ranked among the best independent girls’ schools in the country and its graduates continue take their place as leaders on the global stage. Havergal was established and has been sustained in its mission of preparing young women to make a difference through the generosity of its benefactors—governors, alumnae, students, parents, faculty, staff and friends—for nearly 125 years. We, as campaign co-chairs, along with our dedicated campaign cabinet members, are proud to pick up this torch and, through the success of the Limitless Campaign, position Havergal at the forefront of women’s education, strengthened by new and enhanced spaces for students to explore multiple disciplines and discover their true passions. While tuition covers 85 per cent of the school’s operating costs, Havergal depends on donors to invest in the school to cover the remaining expenses, among them keeping our campus modern and supportive of the latest methods of teaching.

By making your gift, you are ensuring that our girls and generations to come will continue to have the enriching experience that is part of the Havergal trademark. Your support is crucial to our collective success. Together, we can help to provide a bright and rewarding future for all students, full of limitless possibilities.
